Join our Marketing World
Marina Morgan Marketing helps women business owners and executive directors looking to grow their revenue, visibility, and community with our social-led (but full-service) marketing services. We focus on integrated ecosystems (social, email, content, web).
Female-founded, women-led, and obsessed with everything Marketing and New England.
Our team is full of strategists, storytellers, and innovators. We work with our clients to create a brand they are proud of whether that’s a website, their social media feeds, or a local ad. We’re creative people with a knack for words, it’s just what we do.
Now Hiring: Marketing Account Manager
Marina Morgan Marketing is growing, and we're looking for our next Marketing Account Manager to join the team!
We help women business owners and executive directors grow their revenue, visibility, and community through social-led (but full-service) marketing. We think in ecosystems, not one-off posts — social, email, paid ads, content, and web working together to move the needle for our clients. This is a role for someone who wants real ownership: not just executing tasks, but driving the strategy and results for a portfolio of client accounts. If you love strategy as much as you love a well-planned content calendar, keep reading.
Applications will be accepted until…
Monday, July 20 at 4 pm EST.
JOB PROFILE
As our Marketing Account Manager, you'll be the strategic and creative engine behind a roster of client accounts — hands-on across every channel, from social and email to paid ads and web. You'll lead client calls and run day-to-day strategy independently, with our CEO staying close on the big calls: onboarding, major strategy shifts, and ad budget. You're the person clients call, and the person who makes sure the work gets done — presenting strategy, celebrating wins, and problem-solving along the way, all while building a genuine online community around their brand.
JOB DESCRIPTION
This role is part strategist, part storyteller, part project manager, part owner. You'll lead the marketing strategy for each assigned account, build and manage content calendars and campaign plans, own social media, email marketing, paid advertising, and website updates end-to-end, and track performance against real growth goals. You'll present directly to clients — no CEO in the room — and coordinate with our Social Media Manager/Strategist and any designers or contractors to keep everything on track. You'll need extreme attention to detail, the ability to juggle multiple accounts without dropping a ball, a genuine give-a-sh*t attitude, and a collaborative spirit — because at MMM, we're all in this together
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the marketing strategy for each assigned client account across social, email, paid ads, and web — partnering with the CEO on major strategy shifts and initial strategy
Build and maintain content calendars and campaign plans
Present strategy, results, and recommendations directly to clients in monthly and quarterly calls, independently
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, managing communications, approvals, and delivery timelines
Resolve day-to-day client issues and escalations, celebrating wins and addressing concerns proactively
Monitor account health (Green/Yellow/Red) and drive improvement or retention plans where needed
Own social media end-to-end: strategy, content calendar, day-to-day creation, scheduling, community engagement, and reporting
Own email marketing end-to-end: build, send, segment, and test campaigns, plus reporting
Own paid advertising end-to-end — strategy, execution, and optimization — across digital, local, and print as appropriate for each client
Own website updates end-to-end, from routine content edits to larger changes as needed
Coordinate cross-functionally with our Social Media Manager/Strategist and any designers or contractors to keep deliverables on track
Track and report on KPIs monthly, both to clients and internally, driving consistent growth in engagement, followers, and subscribers
Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of strategies, campaign changes, and client communications
Prepare for and lead Quarterly Review meetings with the CEO
Stay current on marketing trends, platform changes, and best practices
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience managing client accounts and marketing strategy, ideally in an agency or multi-client environment
Comfortable leading client calls and presentations independently, without oversight
Experience directing or collaborating with a Social Media Manager or similar specialist, rather than only executing solo
Hands-on experience building and sending email marketing campaigns
Hands-on experience planning and running paid advertising campaigns across a mix of channels (digital, social, local, print)
Comfortable making routine and structural website updates
Strong analytical skills to monitor performance, ROI, and account health
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional time management — the ability to juggle multiple accounts and deadlines without dropping a ball
Meticulous attention to detail and accurate documentation habits
A collaborative, team-first mindset
Adaptability — priorities shift, trends move fast, and you roll with it
A genuine love of learning and staying ahead of the curve
